I am SUPER-stoked about having 70 degree weather Saturday....!!!!

And to add to the fever, Home Depot is having a Wonderful sale on gardening supplies, my trunk is full...w/ potting soil, Round-up etc...
I'm a little leary of planting too many plants right now, because it just too cold and frost is still happening...but hoping to plant some of my seed packets....

I have to say I have the "Flower Gardening Bug", guess I got it from my Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma....I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE color outside...the pinks, reds, yellows, oranges....my husband is not too fond of my obsession ( hey, it's better than some of the alternatives that people are addicted too...that's what I'm screaming)...

WOW!!! I HAVE TO NARROW IT DOWN....I GUESS IT WOULD BE HAVING A HEAVY-FOOT, I HAVE BEEN CAUGHT A COUPLE OF TIMES WHICH IS NOT FUN...AND DEFINATELY NOT CHEAP. WHEN I WAS 20 YRS. OLD I WAS SPEEDING A GOOD BIT, LET'S JUST SAY ABOUT 30-35 MILES PER HOUR OVER THE SPEED LIMIT, AT NIGHT, IN A "WORK ZONE"....NEEDLESS TO SAY I DIDN'T MAKE IT THROUGH BALDWIN PD ROAD TRAP....THEY CAUGHT ME...THANKFULLY I GOT IT LOWERED SOME B/C ME BEING UNDER 21, I WOULD HAVE LOST MY LICENSE...AND THIS WAS MY 1ST TICKET...

{Weekend RECAP}

The weather wasn't too great, but had a pretty good weekend. Friday had to work but after work me, hubs and Chloe had to run a few errands, grabbed a bite for supper. Saturday, we got Chloe & her pink suitcase ready for the GRANDPARENTS house...we met 1/2 way to drop Chloe off with them. I was soooo...hoping for sunny/warm weather to do some much needed yardwork before going on our "date night" but with the rain predications at 80%, we opted to go to the movies early and dinner ( was thrilled to use my $9 Fandango movie deal...didn't feel guilty only paying $4.50 per movie ticket). We went to the mall a little early and looked around, ate a few samples in the food court, decided to have a quick snack before the movies started and headed upstairs to get a good seat ( I have a thing about sitting right in the center of the theater). Movie was funny..."HALL PASS"....
We left the movies with me craving seafood, so we headed over to Red Lobster ( of course I had a coupon...I'm sometimes known as the "COUPON QUEEN")....Was suppose to be a wait but wasn't too bad only 15 minutes....Food was DELCIOUS!!!!

So Date Night was a SUCCESS....All healthy & well....And Really Enjoyed some one-on-one time together!!!

Sunday was church day....Received 2 really good sermons Sunday morning and Sunday night....God was truely speaking through the sermons...and of course we had "family day" with my parents/grandparents and other extended family....Always nice getting to sit and chat with everyone...and of course Chloe entertaining them as well :)

ANOTHER attempt @ a Date Night

Back in February my husband and I attempted to have a "date night"...My parents were going to keep Chloe...I just had it all planned out ( husband thinks its so hilarous when my plans fail, b/c I work soooo....hard planning...I'm a Super Planner, my calenders are my best friend...Lol.)
Well needless to say we didn't make it to date night, my parents got Chloe but by lunch time I was sick, I think I either got food-poisoning or that nasty virus. So our night consisted of laying on the couch with the trash can watching Hallmark movies, but I give Kudos to my husband for just laying there with me, with no fear of catching it ( as anyone that knows me I'm a germ-freak and am terrified of viruses or sicknesses).

So got a great deal on some movies tickets from the discount website, "Living Social", 2 movies tickets for $9...I decided to chance it, we had until June to use them and was thinking surely we will have another opportunity to attempt to use them.

So we're meeting my parents to drop Chloe off with them Saturday morning. Was hoping to get alot of much needed yardwork done, but looks like it is 80% chance of rain tomorrow, but my Mom insisted that they would still LOVE to have Chloe come stay. So I'm going to use my movie tickets, hopefully have a nice meal together and just spend some one-on-one time together....So crossing my fingers that everything pans out....Happy Weekend to EVERYONE!!!!!! ***ThAnKfUl THURSDAY***

1) MY PRAYER TIME- I drive to work 20 minutes every morning...It's PERFECT time for having my daily talk with the Lord - no radio on, no one else in the car....Just so peaceful....And of course it starts the day off to smooth start.......

2) CLEAN SHEETS - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when I have just put clean sheets on the bed, just the crisp feel and the clean aroma....

3) A CALL FROM MY BETTER-HALF - Even if it's just saying he is working over or whatever the case is....Just hearing my husbands voice just makes my heart patter a little harder...Now, we've been almost married 6 years, but still I LOVE listening to my husband...

Well last week I got my "Light Project" finished...Was tickled pink....I got a really great deal on the lights at a furniture store going out of business and had them since last fall.
I took some before & after photos....I just LOVE doing home improvements....I know it costs $$$ but I try to sell a few things on craigslist to have some extra $$$ to spend on the improvements....

~ ANOTHER check off my "To-Do" List ~

Anyone that knows me, knows I CAN"T live without "check-lists", for everything under the sun...I write daily ones, of what I need to get done, weekly ones and Long-term ones of projects I want to get finished.
I started a new one in January and am proud to say I'm pretty productive the last few weeks in getting several off...but of course I have a good many to go...have just been waiting on the warm weather to start on some of them.

Got some shelves made for Chloe's room for her armoire, so sweaters/sweatshirts/hoodies now have a new home...

Got our River Birch Tree down...Loved the tree, but the roots were CRaZy!!! I didn't want it to mess up my patio area, so husband brought the big 'ol equipment in and pushed it over, stump and all....

Got my New lights that I have had since last Fall installed...Yippy!!! I got a GREAT deal on them, and have been trying to update the house with more up-to-date lightening, not the 90's gold-finished ones....I Love them, they look so Good!!!

So this weekend I'm so ***EXCITED*** Warm weather...I'm going to get more and more "checks" off the list...Painting my Potters Table, painting my wire flower planters, planting some flower seeds....Just want to tackle a few things at a time...believe me there is more that needs to be done, but I'm taking baby-steps don't want to overwhelm myself or My Husband...( he just LOVES when I tell him of our next thing to accomplish):) :) :) :)

{THANKFUL Thursday.......}

1} CAR WASHES - I have a car wash place, Mr.Clean that is not far from my work, myself and my co-workers frequently use their services. Isn't it just strange how a car that is clean makes you feel, even if it is an older car....maybe it's just us OCD people that just gleem from inside when our car is washed & vacuumed out...

2} SCHLOTZSKY'S DELI - I just LOVE their subs....They are a little pricer than some places, but their sandwiches are so DELICIOUS!!! I always get the Orignal, sourdough bread, with everything on it, but then of course I pick the tomatoes off...the only time & place I eat black olives....

3} MY COUPON ORGANIZER - I am soooo....into coupons, this is a MUST!!! About everywhere I patronize must have a coupon for me to visit. Guess I'm striving for the "Coupon Queen" award...It's a fool to pay full price when there are so many coupons online to download or in newspapers...Just makes you feel a little better when you grocery shop if you have something to help the wallet...and I even keep coupons and/or gift cards for restaurants as well...nice to swallow that piece of steak when you know you are getting it discounted or for free... :) :)

{BIKE RIDING}

We've been cleaning out our garage & outside building lately and came across a little bike we had bought for Chloe. Saturday she got it out and wanted to ride...It was a PERFECT fit for her, tassles on the handle bars, training wheels...She really thought she was BIG STUFF!!!!
It melted my heart to see my "little" girl riding the bike....Seems like yesterday she was the 6 lbs. bundle of joy I brought home from the hospital.

1. What would you do if you found a pot of gold? Let's pretend that pot of gold is worth exactly $1500 (which would actually be more like a cup of gold at current values). Anyway, let's also pretend you have to spend it as opposed to making a donation somewhere. Now, tell me what you would do with that cup pot of gold?

I WOULD SAY HOME IMPROVEMENTS. WE HAVE DONE MOST THAT WE WANT TO DO, BUT WE DO WANT TO BUILD A 2 CAR GARAGE SEPERATE FROM THE HOUSE SO THAT WOULD PROBABLY HELP WITH THAT. OR IT WOULD BE A DOWN PAYMENT FOR A NEW SUV FOR THE FAM. MINE HAS AROUND 215,000 MILES AND I KNOW EVENTUALLY IT WILL DIE, BUT UNTIL THEN I'M DRIVING IT.

NOPE, I DON'T CELEBRATE. I DO WEAR GREEN SO I DON'T GETTING PINCHED BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THAT'S MY ST.PATTY'S DAY.

I AM ALWAYS IN A CLEANING MOOD, BUT I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO ORGANIZE MY DAUGHTERS ROOM SINCE WE GOT SHELVES INSTALLED IN HER ARMOIRE. AND WE'RE WANTING TO ORGANIZE THE LAUNDRY ROOM SOME MORE. MY GARAGE IS ON THE TO-DO LIST AS WELL, WE'RE WANTING TO DO AWAY WITH THE RUBBERMAID SHELVES AND BUILD SOME ATTACHED TO THE WALL FOR EXTRA STORAGE.

1} Today I'm THANKFUL for my FREE Chic-fila spicy chicken biscuit....Yes, the Chick-fila around the area are offering free biscuits on every Thursday during this month of March.....You guessed it right, it's marked on my calender not forget....Hey, who wouldn't when a Chick-fila is less than 1 mile from my house....LOVE me some Chicken!!!

2} Today I'm THANKFUL for Spring flowers....I LOVE flowers, & this time of year is beautiful. The daffodils, the cherry trees, dogwoods....Wow!!! God's Creation is just INDESCRIBABLE!!!

3} Today I'm THANKFUL for my Best Friend....AKA My Husband, he is what I truely look forward to coming home to every day ( & of course Chloe). He knows all of my little quirks, my mood just by the look in my eyes....He makes me laugh, he is supportive...I'm so Forever thankful for God putting us together...He completes me!

NO I DON'T PARTICIPATE.

THAT I JUST INHERITED ALOT OF $$$, I KNOW MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING, BUT IT WOULD SURE HELP PAY OFF SOME BILLS AND COULD PROBABLY AFFORD A NEW VEHICLE AS MINE HAS MANY, MANY MILES ON IT, BUT I JUST HATE HAVING TO HAVE CAR PAYMENTS AGAIN....AND I WOULD PAY OFF MY HOUSE MORTGAGE....AND OF COURSE TITHE TO THE LORD.

OUTSIDE, NOT BAD, BUT DOES NEED A GOOD WASH, BUT IT'S JUST BEEN TOO RAINY HERE TO GET IT CLEANED AND MESSED UP WITHIN A DAY OR SO. INSIDE, DOES NEED VACUUMING OUT, BUT I'LL LEAVE THAT TO THE MR.CLEAN CAR WASH PLACE TO DO, GOTTA GET YOUR $$'S WORTH. THE ONLY JUNK IN MY TRUNK IS, A PORTABLE POTTY FOR CHLOE, A FEW UMBRELLAS, SOME JUMPER CABLES AND A BLANKET IN CASE WE EVER GET STRANDED SOMEWHERE.
