2 "1st's for the Weekend" - Corn Maze & Movies

This past weekend, didn't go exactly as planned, Chloe decided she didn't want to stay at her grandparents. Saturday all 3 of us loaded up heading to garage sales....Wow!!! We found some good deals, needless to say our garage is loaded with finds. Glad my 4 - Runner has some luggage racks attached and thank goodness for some bungee cords! Even when you least expect, you come across some "Chloe" personalized items, found the cutest little bench that was custom-made for another Chloe.
Saturday afternoon it was so cool & crisp we decided to head onto the Pumpkin farm. Flashlights & hoodies in stow we were ready for our adventure, going to attempt the corn maze this year as well.
Chloe was non-stop the whole time, running from activity to activity. It was rather cool, the wind was whipping around too. We attempted the corn maze, but after Chloe gave up on walking & wanted to be carried we opted to find a worker to help us find our way out.
Sunday afternoon we went to see COURAGEOUS movie. This was Chloe's 1st Movie ever! She did quite well, a little anxious towards the end. This movie is a MUST SEE!! The movie was very powerful, with a great message to be heard!
Had a Super weekend with my little fam!!!!!!!!

FuN-Filled Weekend!

Loving this fall weather! Chloe is staying with her grandparents most of the weekend. Me & the Hubs are going "junkin", hoping to find some good deals & unique pieces! Friday hoping to scope out some sales by myself & then Saturday going to scope together for some GREAT finds!



Sunday we are going with our family & church to see the Movie "COURAGEOUS". If you have ever seen "Facing the Giants" or "Fireproof" this is by the same producers & has tons of rave reviews online about this movie. I've watched several trailer clips, seems to be an Encouraging, yet Challenging movie, while blessing the soul as well. I happy to know I'm watching the movie with my Dad & my Husband, as this movie is about the VERY Important role Fathers have in their childrens lives & their spouses as well.
Very Anxious & Excited about this weekend, I think it's going to be GREAT!!

Birthday Weekend....Very Blessed!

I had a Great Birthday Weekend! Saturday we got to do one of my FAVORITE past-times, JUNKIN'!!! We got some really good deals, several "Moving Sales" & a few Community-wide yard sales!
That night we went out with my parents/sister to a Seafood place off of Lake Hartwell. I've been hearing rave-reviews & wanted to check it out myself....I give them a A+++!!! Shrimp, catfish, hushpuppies....Mmmmmmmm!!! (Good!!!)
Sunday, my actual birthday ( September 25th), We went to church, ate lunch with both sets of my grandparents, my aunt/uncle/cousin & my parents/sister. They sung "Happy Birthday" to me at the restaurant, I think Chloe was more thrilled than ever, she was smiling ear-to-ear the whole time. That afternoon they all came to my parents & gave me gifts, ate cake etc.
I am SOoooooo Blessed at the family-orientated family I have, so thankful to be able to celebrate my 29th birthday with both sets of my grandparents! (Even our little doggie, Oreo, got to come up to Habersham )

Not the gifts, or the recognition for the day, but the feeling of LOVE that is all around is what made my day so special! The cards with the special messages melted my heart as well....29, is going to be a good year, I just feel it!!!

Sunday, the 25th is my 29th Birthday!
It is very hard for me to believe when I tell people I will be 29, where has the last 10 years went, seemed just like yesterday that I was telling people I was almost 20 years old. Alot has happened in the last 10 years though, and I know it has made me the person I am today. College, Career, my Husband/Best Friend, a Beautiful Little Girl, just to name a few.
Age to me is just a number, so "29 and holding" is just a common quote for the age, looking forward to what the future holds for me & relying on God each step of the way!

~ LOVIN' The Weather ~

This cool, crisp weather is SOoooo Nice! It just seems as a fresh a new breath into the tired, sun-crisped weather we had over the summer, everything seems a little lively & energized!
Last night Chloe & I took a walk with Oreo...I shall we say Oreo drug us throughout the neighborhood. Got most of my fall decorations out, now on for planning some fun fall activities!

PeRfEcT Weather For....

This weekend looks to be alot cooler, great time for looking for some good garage/yard sales. Everyone doing their fall cleaning, I'm on a misson for some unique pieces, always fun to dig through another persons junk to see if it can become your treatsure!
So in the morning after dropping Chloe off at school, extra cash in pocket, I'm setting out for a junk-fest adventure!

Okay, if you've never been on Pinterest you wouldn't know the obsession that it intells. I've been on there since Spring time and LOVE it! There are some many neat ideas to try, great quotes to remember & use...hair styles that are likeable....You name it, PINTEREST has it.
I've gotten several recipes off of there, waiting to try but sound so scruptious! Craft ideas for kids, home decor how-to's....I can't say ENOUGH about this "Awesome" website!
