~Our Family Beach Vacation~

Last week we went on our Annual Family Beach Vacation, to Myrtle Beach. Oh, how I LOVE, yes LOVE the sound of the ocean waves and the smell of the salt in the air....Chloe was sooooo Excited!

We had a great time, my parents & sister went with us as well. We stayed literally about 6 hours per day out on the beach, playing in the sand, riding the waves, and of course I was catching some Vitamin D.

We went shopping or on some excursions every night, along with our golf cart cruise line venture, where we stay, "Ocean Lakes" alot of teenagers and adults as well, cruise down the line....Amazing at how nice & supped-up some of the golf carts are. From big speakers, strobe lights, shiny rims...custom painting....Chloe had a blast, and for a mere second she seemed as if she was 13 years old instead of 3 1/2 years old, she is my "Little Social Butterfly", she would rather carry on a conversation with an adult or teen then someone her age, guess that goes to show what great vocabulary she has for such a small little person.

It was nice having a week to just RELAX, no planned agenda, no time schedule and good quality time together as a FAMILY!

I"M READY.....I Smell the Salt/Sand....& Hear the WAVES...

Our Family Beach vacation is finally in sight. It's been a long, busy summer! We usually always go in June but b/c of some cancelations with a church mission trip we ended up scheduling it for in July. We missed the beach last year as we went mountain bound to Pigeon Forge.
I'm so ready to have the salt air running through my hair, listening to the waves crashing and soaking up the sunshine. Chloe is soooooo Excited! She hasn't been in almost 2 years....She keeps talking about building a sand castle and picking up seashells.
We stay in a small beach bunaglow, we ride bikes or the golf cart down to the beach...So the suitcases are out....starting to check things off the list....and I'm marking off the hours now until we are BEACHBOUND!!!!

{JULY 8, 1977}

Friday, the 8th is my Husband 34th Birthday, my Best Friend, Supporter, Wonderful Daddy, & Soul Mate. I can not tell him enough how much he means to me or how special he is to me, I hope that I show it each & every day as we go about Life together. He is such a STRONG provider for our little family, working long, ( and I mean VERY long hours) to provide for me & Chloe.
Chloe adores her Daddy so much, she strives for his undivided attention, she is a "Daddy's Girl"!
I am still in awe of the Awesomeness that God is to have let myself & my husband's paths cross in Life and led us to each other....He is the other piece of the puzzle that completed my Life!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family 4th WEEKEND

We had a Wonderful Weekend together for the 4th of July. We did a MAJOR, I mean MAJOR yard project, going to post photos later, had a birthday supper for my Grandpa's 76th birthday, a family reunion & Cookout at church on Sunday. We ate lots of good food, & had fun hanging out with family/friends.
Monday, we had some pool time and couldn't decide where we wanted to see the fireworks displayed. We can usually sees tons from our back patio or bedroom window, but wanted to venture out, we headed to Mall of Ga area, was actually pretty good idea, we parked at Buford Target, shopped a little, then came out & dragged our fold-out chairs out.
